Someone once told me you cannot leave Moscow without having been to a ball. There a number of them throughout the year. Now, neither R nor I are really "ball" people, but I didn't want to have that regret, neither did my friend T. We figured our husbands would be happier going with a friend and this ball benefits the social programs provided by Moscow Protestant Chaplaincy that we have supported in the past. We had a lovely time playing dress up! And I'm always up for a date night with my husband.
