There is still a watch shop in the storefront of the building.

 The tour and the guide were excellent.  The most touching story she told was about the people who were in the "Hiding Place" when the house was raided and the Ten Booms went to jail.  They knew the fates of eight of the nine, but did not know what had happened to the ninth.  Sometime in the '80's on a tour a man broke down as the guide was telling about the "Hiding Place" and said he was the 9th.  He had managed to live through the war and had emigrated to South Africa.
