Camp Clean Up
Although they had not gotten rain, it was so humid the tents needed to be dried out when they arrived "home". It was sunny and very breezy so the tents dried quickly and the boys made quick work of putting them away. We drove through Dairy Queen for a cold refreshing treat and then hit the road for home. M spent most of the trip catching up on his zzzzssss. Good thing too, because he'll be home for less than 12 hours before we drop him off at another Boy Scout camp for a couple weeks as a Counselor in Training.
Friends: Two Legged and Four Legged
Our next stop was to visit the stable where H used to ride, first we saw T and then we brushed Sadie, who remembered H or at least the apple!
Our Visit with the B Family
was delightful, thank you for your kind hospitality! When I realized I had to pick M up in New Ulm after his week at camp with his old Troop I wondered if I could split up my trip and visit some friends at the same time. So yeah, I invited my self to J's home and not just myself, but three children and not just a visit, but an overnight! The children enjoyed their time together and J and I enjoyed our playdate too! We are looking forward to their visit to our home, see you in August!

After our delightful tour
we headed back to the M farm for a picnic and fellowship and play. Thank you M family for arranging the field trip and your kind hospitality.
Bucks
The bucks were outside and most of them were not interested in visiting with us. This one was curious though.

Milking, Confirmation and Dairy Goat Facts
The K family raises French Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf goats. After demonstrating how to milk the goats each child got a turn! There was even a quiz on Dairy Goat facts!
