Walking through Old City Jerusalem

Tyrian Shekel

One like this may have been one of the thirty pieces of silver that Judas received to betray Jesus.

Stations One and Two: Trial by Pilate

Stations one and two commemorate Jesus' trial by Pilate, although some scholars believe this took place at Herod's Palace.  There are three early 19th century churches on this site.

Via Dolorosa

is a street in the Old City of Jerusalem that is thought to be where Jesus walked carrying His cross on the way to His crucifixion.  I have many pictures from our tour, some of the stations may be out of order, I may be missing some, neither is done out of disrespect...it was not as meaningful to me to note each individual station as it might have been to someone else. What was meaningful and awe - some to me was that my Jesus walked these streets.
