Dad is a docent and tour guide on the USS North Carolina. I had hoped we could all go for a tour one day but illness interfered with that plan. C went with Grampa one day, and then K and H, R and I went one day, early before they closed for adverse weather. We were nearly the only ones on the ship and Dad knows his stuff! The last time I toured the USS North Carolina, M was in a backpack and K told me, "I walked a thousand miles on that ship." I look forward to going with the girls in the summer!
