My sister D and I slipped out early Saturday morning to take a quick walk on the beach, look at the home we rented for Christmas and eat Chik fil A for breakfast, yum!

I was honored that she asked me to be a guest speaker for her classes on Thursday.  There were four double 7th grade social studies classes.  Each class had some very good and thoughtful questions.

One of my transfers was in Boston MA, it was just after they'd won the world series and there were banners everywhere!

I had barely returned to Moscow when I turned around to fly to NC.  My sister has been battling colon cancer and she had her 12/12 chemo treatments on Tuesday, November 6.  During her treatments she would receive two drugs by infusion and then would go home with a third drug in a pump.  Her pump will be removed Thursday afternoon.  I am thrilled that I get to be there to help her celebrate.
