YUM! Once upon a time when we lived in Duplin County NC, Roger went out to lunch and had this lemon blueberry pie. He loved it! But, I couldn't find a recipe that sounded anything like what he described. . . I took the boys and our little neighbor girl blueberry picking. They should have weighed M, you know the story _Blueberries for Sal_ where Sal eats all the berries she picks, that is what M did that day. When L went home that afternoon we sent her with some blueberries. Her mom, G baked us one of these pies AND shared the recipe with me. Every year when I make these pies I think fondly of that day blueberry picking and am thankful for good neighbors and good recipes!
