but before getting on our metro car headed toward home we checked out the Metro Gallery. The photos were well done and dedicated to the men and women of the police force, the metro police and the military. Some of the photos were touching, the officers helping an elderly woman, the little girl sharing her water with the mounted officer. . .but some of the photos were a surprising show of power and might. We've always told the children if they were in need of help to seek out a helper, and in the states, police officers were always on our list. Here, they are more intimidating and at least in the past not always the good guys.
