We had the open house for both the graduation and Eagle award at our home on Saturday, May 10th from 12 - 6pm. We knew that the family would be there and we knew some of the people coming but we really had no idea, it was a busy weekend, lots of area graduations and we had already seen many friends and had plans to see others. We are so thankful for all the help we had getting ready for the party. And we were so blessed with all the friends that came to celebrate with us! I was so busy enjoying myself, visiting and celebrating that I did not do a very good job snapping photos, sorry! The sky clouded up and we had a few rain drops near the beginning of the party but even though it was cool and breezy the sun was out! R made North Carolina BBQ, yum. And we had stopped at the grocery store while we were in New Ulm to pick up a couple pony kegs of 1919 rootbeer, there was fruit and veggies, chips and dips, hotdogs and brats, lemonade and ice tea as well. We had cupcakes, with sprinkles and cake too. No one went away hungry!
