| We've been visiting Emerald Isle for 26 years and I've never seen so many air patrols...I'm pretty sure they were on shark watch. Also, I'm not sure I've ever seen the beaches as empty during a summer week as we did this week. Praying for all the shark attack victims, their families, first responders and medical attendants. I am reminded how thankful I am for those men and women who staff the always ready fire stations and EMT squads. |
