These were in the counter containers at cafes and restaurants to hold warm foods.  I believe there were other ones for other wet items.  

They had fountains in the streets with running water.

This was a wine shop owned by a woman.

This was at the Temple of Isis.  Once upon a time, I was the Goddess Astarte in the Vestal Senior Class Play, she was modeled after Isis.  This was a pose I held in the play.
