Sightseeing with Friends

This is the only photo I have of some of them.  They were exploring Devil's Gulch.

 Near our friends' Don and Melissa's home in Missouri live some Amish people.  They are friendly with some of them.  Roger has met several of them a couple of times.  Many Amish people from various locations travel to Canistota SD to see a chiropractor.  When the mutual friends heard that we lived close to their chiropractor they wondered if we could visit and show them some things while they were in SD.  So, for several days while they were here we took them sightseeing.  The last day they were here, they came to the house for supper before Roger took them to the bus station.  They enjoyed sightseeing.  They very much enjoyed the tea and quick bread, and later hamburgers and all the fixin's.  They were quite uncomfortable inside our home and did spend most of their time outside. We had some interesting conversations.  There were two young couples, one toddler belonging to one of the couples, and the father and mother of one of the young ladies.  Days after their visit the father passed away, he had been having heart trouble.  One of the young ladies requested photos of the places we visited and was very pleased when I made her copies of the pictures.
