Making Pizza Sauce

First, have the children pick tomatoes.

And count them.

Pop them into boiling water until the skins pop.

Plunge them into cold water until cool enough to core and skin.

These last two pics are out of order and don't want to let me put them in order.  Simmer the sauce until nice and thick.

Put the tomatoes through the food mill to puree and remove the seeds.
I realized I did not take any pictures of the canning process.  Although I am done with pizza sauce the canning process is similar for tomato sauce and I'll try to remember to take some pictures when we make tomato sauce.
