Oconaluftee Indian Village, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Cherokee NC

The Friendship Dance

After the museum and lunch we visited the Indian Village which depicted Cherokee life as it was in 1750.  We saw several handicrafts being practiced, a canoe being burned, watched some dances, listened to oral history and sociology of the tribe and even got to shoot a blow dart.
