My day started with a beautiful sky before sunrise, so I could feed the animals, put the quiches in the oven and turn on all the Christmas lights. Then the kids piled into our room where Roger read the Christmas account from the book of Luke and we opened our stockings, culminating in a (artificial) snowball fight. Then it was time for breakfast and gifts. Later there were games and naps. My favorite gift this year came from Kyle and Amanda, a handmade ornament announcing a grandbaby due in early July.
