They look just like Whitetail Deer but smaller. It is a endangered deer that lives only in the Florida Keys, it is a subspecies of the Whitetail deer. The male only stand 30 inches tall at the shoulder and the female only 26 inches tall. There are only between 700 - 800 of the deer living on the islands.
