Originally we were all supposed to travel back home to Russia together, but, R had a construction field trip added to his schedule. We traded the suburban for a rental in Sioux Falls and drove to Minneapolis. R dropped us at the airport, returned the car and took a shuttle to the hotel, he flew to Indianapolis the next day, returning to MSP later the same week and then flying to Moscow via Amsterdam. We checked into our flight, headed through security and then to our gate. Our flight was late leaving MSP and late arriving in Amsterdam. We made the connection but our luggage did not! R, the driver picked us up and delivered us home. The airline delivered the luggage the next day. I intend to make a layover in Amsterdam sometime, but I want to go when the tulips are blooming! It was not as difficult to leave the USA this time because we already have tickets for NC in December!
