Playing Tourist in this Beautiful City

We started the tour outside the Central House of Artists

and then headed to the Park of Fallen Monuments.

Saw Peter the Great and 

walked along the riverfront park.

We then toured Christ our Savior Church 

before heading to Novodevichy Convent, New Maiden Convent.

We then walked partway around the frozen pond for a beautiful view of  Moscow City

and of the Convent.

Someone had already ben skiing on the pond!

Then the driver took us to Sparrow Hills to seethe whole city!

Park Pobedy

One of the board members of R's company is a friend from SD and CA working days.  The board member's wife accompanied him on this trip to Moscow.  She arranged for a tour guide and I joined her.  I hope she enjoyed herself as much as I did!
