I always insist we wait to decorate for Christmas and sing Christmas carols until AFTER Thanksgiving. I figure it is an important holiday and it kind of gets lost between Halloween and Christmas. So even though we hadn't yet celebrated Thanksgiving they were technically correct and I let them decorate the tree. We didn't take down all the fall decorations until after our Thanksgiving meal though.
