Morning Chores

Feed, water, and move the meatbirds.

China likes to supervise all activities involving birds.

The crescent moon was still visible this morning.

Jack likes to ride on my shoulders when I do the chores, this is not always convenient, and he shows his displeasure when I place him on the ground.

Leo prefers not to be picked up or patted from above, instead he likes to roll over right in front of your feet along whichever path you are taking and beg you to pet his belly.

It is not hard to do chores on beautiful mornings.  And it more than makes up for the days when it was below zero.

Since Jerry does not go to the bakery with Halla, some mornings he helps with chores.  The cats are his favorite, he loves them!

Another spider web on Micah's four wheeler.

Good morning Joe!

We've been chopping, splitting, and stacking wood from the trees we took down in the grove.

Joe thinks he's hiding.

Leo is the least friendly to Joe, but they seem to have made their peace.

Turkey Lurkey

This chick was a bonus in the box of meatbirds, kinda like the prize in the Cracker Jack box.  I think he's a rooster!

We added these beautiful young hens this year.

After chores Caleb or Shiloh like to take a turn in the hammock.
