The third week of their life we were supposed to introduce them to swimming, but that week it was cold, 32 degrees F with snow flurries nearby. They would have likely been fine, I didn't relish carrying that much water in that weather! So this week we gave them an interim pond which they drink out of just fine but only get into inadvertently as they are leaning over for a drink, get surprised, and quickly hop out!
