to get our skates sharpened.  Not being sure how long it would take to get our ice skates sharpened we did not plan on skating the same day.  With Google Translate, money, hand signals and pantomime we managed to get our skates sharpened.  He seemed rather disappointed that we were not going to skate, until we said, "Do svidaniya!"
