Our friends, R's work colleague, that live in Lipetsk mentioned they had gone swimming at the river one recent weekend. I had been unsuccessful at finding a beach in Moscow so we were excited to go swimming. Our driver, R, knew a sheltered place on the Lipetsk Reservoir. It was the middle of the day on a week day so we only saw a few fishermen and had the beach to ourselves. The water was a bit chilly at first touch, but, we all enjoyed a swim and some time playing in the sand. It was a delightful afternoon!
