As M's time in Russia draws to a close, I asked if there was anything he really wanted to do that we hadn't done yet. He said visit Lenin's Tomb. I checked, the hours are short and not daily and soon he would go in for maintenance and wasn't guaranteed to be back before M left. So Sunday morning before church we stopped to see Lenin. First, we got fussed at because after most of us passed through security we stopped to wait for M, whose boots(steel toed) and belt always gets him a second look, they didn't want us to stop. Then, R got fussed at for having his hands in his pockets. Later, he got fussed at for putting them back in his pockets! And finally, we got shushed because C was making noise, I clapped my hands over his mouth and his eyes, he didn't want to see the dead guy, and we hurried out of there! Our impressions: Lenin was short! his appearance was that of a wax dummy from a museum, and we don't need to do that again, however if you visit and you too want to see him, I'll be glad to take you, just don't put your hands in your pockets!
