was completed in 1924 and was originally planned to have railroad traffic on the bottom and vehicular traffic on the top. It was never used as a railroad bridge and the bottom was converted to vehicular use also. In 2009 the Discovery Bridge was opened to replace the Meridian Bridge which reopened in 2011 as a biking, and walking trail.
