Raisa Gorbochova visited Boston and fell in love with the statue of Make Way for Ducklings in the Boston Public Garden.  This statue was a gift from Mrs. Bush and the children of the United States to the children of the Soviet Union.

You can see the Russian park goers wearing coats and hats,

and the children from South Africa and the US in sweatshirts and teeshirts.

Me, I might change into flats for a trip to the playground but Russian women wear heels, all the time and anywhere!

These little Russian girls politely asked our big girls, in English, to push them on the swing.

Fur, just a fur trimmed hood, but still fur, mind you it is September 3rd.
