The tour we took at Jewel Cave was much shorter in duration as well as distance. People have asked me which cave was my favorite, because the tours we took were so different I hesitate to say which was my favorite! People have also said, "Well a cave is a cave. . ." but I found these caves to be very different from each other and different still from Mystery Cave which we toured in MN. There were some beautiful, jewel like crystals in the large room that we toured, must be where the cave got its' name!
