The guide, a high school kid, did a great job, and had the one liner of the week, "And that is why you walked up a hill to look in a hole."

I've been to The La Brea Tar Pits and this site is just as amazing and well done.  And like the La Brea Tar Pits this is an active site, we did not see anyone digging as the excavation is done during the summer months.
