The plan was to take the Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park scenic route, most of which we were able to do, however, part of the Needles highway was still closed for the winter. After a light hotel breakfast and dramamine all around we headed out to the car where we passed out the throw up buckets. While the roads were narrow, twisty and steep I am pleased to say no buckets were needed!
