I made for our tea time after church, the whole house smelled delicious! I usually use confectioners sugar and water to make the frosting crosses after they are baked BUT I have yet to find confectioners sugar here, so instead, I made a paste of flour and water, kinda like the paste Gramma G used to make us to make paper chains with, and piped it onto the tops of the unbaked rolls. It worked! And they were yummy.
The children think I should make them for Russian Orthodox Easter as well, they've taken to calling it Second Easter.
