The American Embassy Dacha

M went along with Boy Scout Troop 500 of Moscow Russia on their winter 2013 campout.  It was held at the country home belonging to the American Embassy.  They dug and slept in snow caves, but obviously spent some time inside. My task was to send dessert.  I managed to make some chocolate chip bars (Blondies), we can't find chocolate bits here so the children cut up some chocolate bars for me.

*I have since found chocolate bits at Metro (sort of like Sam's Club or BJ's) but they came in a 5 kg package which I didn't think was a wise purchase. . .
