But see the first word on the label? It says Goose, no translation necessary, just ability to sound out words in Cyrillic, which I can mostly do. Getting a turkey last year was such a challenge when I saw this one this year I was so excited. And then later when I realized I needed a bigger or another bird, and again found another "turkey" so easily, it should have been a sign...Thank goodness for google, finding a recipe to cook TWO geese was not difficult. Other blessings, they both fit in my roasting pan AND in the oven, goose went fine with all the turkey trimmings, everyone was a good sport about it, R decided he liked goose better than turkey and even I liked the flavor of it!
