The Marigolds are Gone, the Woodchips are Here!


One day, sometime in the fall, the groundskeepers take out all the marigolds and replace them with woodchips.  One day in the spring, the groundskeepers pick up all the woodchips and plant marigolds.  This happens all over the city.  Somewhere there must be huge piles of rotting woodchips.  This fall some gardens were replaced with just yellow and blue woodchips, accidental or purposeful, there was quite a hullabaloo, the woodchips were quickly "fixed" and I am certain someone lost his job. . .
