As a boy, my Dad recalls having ridden by train cross country. He recalls stopping in OK and there is a photograph of he and his Mother at The Pioneer Woman statue in Ponca City OK. Since it was on our way I stopped too. It reminds me of my favorite Harvey Dunn painting, The Prairie is my Garden.
