It is not uncommon for us to see fireworks on the weekends. It seems many weddings are celebrated with fireworks here and we live across the street from a park and restaurant that host many weddings. But, the fireworks that we usually see are on par with the ones we can buy in South Dakota or in South Carolina. Late this Sunday afternoon we started to be able to hear the base sound from a concert. Somewhere close to us there was a concert, in the park in the rain or the recreation building or or or. But at 10 pm it wrapped up with a fireworks display that rivaled some of the US Independence Day fireworks programs that I've seen. And I got to watch it all from my kitchen window.
