Make Way for Ducklings in Moscow

One of my favorite children's author/illustrator is Robert McCloskey.  And one of my favorite books is _Make Way for Ducklings_.  Last week when we visited the library we brought home _Make Way for Ducklings_, we have it at our US home and were missing it.  I fondly recall seeing the original statue in Boston Public Gardens and know I have gotten a few postcards with the image on the front through the years.  Raisa Gorbachev admired the statue while in Boston and was presented a copy of the statue by Barbara Bush for the children of the Soviet Union from the children of the United States of America.  The equipment, statues, cobblestones, and workers were all flown from Massachusetts before the  installation in July 1991.
