There were three buildings in the complex, housing over one million artifacts from nearly all eras and civilizations in the world. There was construction going on and the two most famous pieces, the Alexander Sarcophagus, prepared for Alexander the Great and the Kadesh Peace Treaty between Ramses II and the Hittites, the oldest known peace treaty in the world, were off display. My favorite? all the beautiful blue pottery!
