The Cottonwoods are Blooming!



On my computer I can see the tuffs from the cottonwood tree drifting across the sky, I guess you'll just have to imagine it.





Cottony Structures that bear the seeds upon the breeze

The small stalk that attaches the leaf blade to the stem (petiole) on the Cottonwood tree is flattened sideways so the leaves of the Cottonwood have a particular movement in the wind.
