Stained Glass Windows

Many of the houses in this area and in MN as well have beautiful stained glass windows in them.  Most of the houses I'm thinking of were built around 1900.  Wondering about them I asked the docent at the museum what she could tell me about them.  I was curious whether there were stained glass artists in the area.  And while I realize everyone needs beauty in their lives, around the turn of the century life was still quite difficult on the plains and I would have thought time and money would have been spent differently.  The windows, it turns out, were ordered from catalogs, you know Sears and JC Penney.
