Walking through Dublin in Evening

The General Post Office served as the headquarters for the leaders of the Easter Rising in 1916 and was destroyed by fire during the rebellion, the facade is the only part of the original building left.  The building also houses an original copy of the Proclamation of the Irish Republic.

General Post Office in Gaelic and a spelling that predates spelling reforms of the 1960's.

After we finished our bus tour it was time for supper, and what do you think we ate for our first Irish supper?  Chinese Buffet of course :)
