A friend coordinated, collected rubles and bought tickets to the State Kremlin Palace Concert Hall and Theatre, no small feat and we very much appreciated her legwork. What better way to start the Christmas season than with _The Nutcracker_? The scenery and the costumes were amazing, there was a live orchestra in the pit, and the dancers were superb.
