A sacred spot for the Native Americans coming to quarry Pipestone. Many believe the larger stones shelter the spirit of three maidens who require offerings before quarrying the pipestone. This granite boulder was left here by a glacier, and frosting action split it into pieces. The granite looks out of place in an area of quartzite.
