There were a few chuckles on our tour but more expressions of disbelief and awe that we once wore such interesting garments. We could not imagine the number of undergarments once worn, warm in the winter but the summer? without air conditioning? And the corsets would have been hard to walk in, not to mention doing any work! Everyone got a kick out of the bustles, trying to make your fanny bigger, seems that is still in vogue today. . .
