While we were picking up our bus passes for the hop on hop off tour the other day I noticed they had an all day trip to Versailles and Gieverny. Yes, I knew they weren't exactly in the same directions, yes, I had directions how to get to both places via public transportation, yes I knew a package deal would be more expensive BUT we did it anyway! So, Friday morning we headed into Paris bright and early and ate a wonderful breakfast close to the bus stop. Then we boarded the bus for the trip to Versailles.
