H had an afternoon with our church youth group at the park. Rather than go back home and turn around and head back out to pick her up I just stayed at the park and enjoyed the afternoon wandering around. The park was busy with weddings, a race and people arriving after having done some sort of color event. There were people lounging and painting and eating and paddling and jumping and biking and skating and boarding and and and. Gorky Park is a wonderful place to people watch! Although the sky was ominous and there was thunder and lightening in the distance, we didn't have to take shelter. The maintenance crew keep the streets clean with the large sprayers, look out because most of the time they aren't watching for people!
