Musee d'Orsay

The church on the far hill is Sacre Coeur.

Photography was not allowed in this museum, I snuck a few.  Some of my favorites were Poppy Field by Claude Monet, La Vuelta de la pesca by Juaquin Sorolla and ballet paintings and sculptures by Edgar Degas.  But, it was also very cool to see in person paintings that I've read about and seen prints of such as Whistler's Mother, The Gleaners and Apples and Oranges.  We also toured the temporary exhibit about Van Gogh.  The museum itself is a beautiful space and was a railroad station built between 1898 and 1900.
