Sainte Chapelle

One of the very cool things we learned on our bus tour was that the gargoyles were down spouts carved to move the rainwater away from the masonry walls.

We walked on the Ile de la Cite until we found Sainte Chapelle.  It was undergoing some major restoration work on the stained glass windows so the rose window was not visible, but it was still a beautiful building inside and out.
