After we made our travel arrangements we took the tram back to the center of town and popped into a grocery store intending to pick up things for a picnic supper. We got a few items selected before the grocery store closed and shooed us to the registers _AT 8 o'clock ON FRIDAY NIGHT! So we took our sparse picnic things to the riverfront where we enjoyed appetizers and then ate supper at a nearby Chinese restaurant! Later we walked along the riverbank before heading back to our hotel.
