Earlier in the day when we arrived in town we had asked at the tourism office for things to do in town. The lady had suggested walking along the edge of the lake to see the Schloss Schadau, a beautiful manor house at the outlet to the lake. We thought that might be a nice place for a picnic, especially after having viewed the lake from the Thun Castle windows.
