Zoo Basel

These two penguin parents were feeding this chick.

Can you see the chick resting on it's parent's feet?

Can you see the egg resting on top of its feet, tucked up under the skin flap?

Although Basel has several world class museums I opted to spend the beautiful day outside enjoying the zoo.  The penguin enclosure held the first wonderful surprises, chicks and and egg!
